Caribbean Wedding with Family
Bay Bistro Wedding Photographs
Kelly and Michael weren’t really the types who wanted lots of attention for their intimate Caribbean wedding– they came to the Turks and Caicos for a small, private ceremony where they could focus on each other and not have any other worries in the background. They almost succeeded, except the bride’s brother was a little more rambunctious than they were prepared for! If you ask me it added just the spunk the wedding needed, and I ended up getting some great reactions from everyone in my portraits! Kelly and Michael were both very emotional during the ceremony, but they were nothing but smiles once the hard part was over. It takes a lot of diligence and effort to feel anything but happiness once you are on the most beautiful beach in the world at sunset! Bay Bistro is always a great place to make rustic wedding photographs with a beautiful wooden boardwalk and a nice wide beach. The couple chose to have their reception right by the water under a beautiful tent. The decorations were low-key, subtle, and suited the couples’ personalities like a glove. While the big parties and wedding receptions can be fun, sometimes it’s nice to just have a small intimate wedding with only your closest family members present. The pictures tend to be more meaningful that way also, without having to mix in a lot of extraneous groups or extra-specific set ups.
