Destination Wedding Turks and Caicos Style
New York meets Turks and Caicos
Have you ever met a couple that made you fall in love with love? That’s what Stephanie and Bob did for us. When we met for their pre-wedding consultation weeks before their special day, we knew that it would be bliss to photograph them and their amazing destination wedding. They were New Yorkers with an artsy taste and a sense of romance that would be perfectly displayed in a premium fine art album that would last a lifetime. We knew that was what they deserved, so that was what we set out to deliver.
It started with reassuring Stephanie that it would be worth having their “first look” documented in private. Unlike the traditional “walk down the isle”, our experience has taught us that most couples relax much more when family and friends aren’t watching. That’s when we’re able to capture our couples’ sweetest most sincere and photo-worthy moments. Stephanie and Bob, flowed perfectly through the luscious garden grounds. Bob appeared first in his sharp blue blazer and a touch of pink from his bougainvillea boutonniere. Stephanie soon followed in a gorgeous non-traditional gown, beautiful hair styled by Therese, and makeup which was done to perfection by Thea. As promised, the two enjoyed an intimate moment before moving to a garden session and to an on-time ceremony start.
Down on the beach and at the restaurant reception location, Shauna, the in-house event planner had done a fantastic job incorporating all things Turks and Caicos Islands into the rustic tropical decor. In a short and very sweet ceremony Stephanie and Bob exchanged their vows and toasted to a happily ever after. They took their first portraits as husband and wife taken on our world renowned Grace Bay Beach, tossed flower petals with family and friends in celebration, kissed to the backdrop of a gorgeous setting sun, and then danced the night away to a live local band. We wish them ever lasting happiness.
