Luxury Resort Wedding at the Palms
It was from the start that I knew Jessica and Clifford’s wedding would be very special. The two sweethearts planned their tropical destination wedding to include a traditional church ceremony at the beautiful Lady of Divine Providence Catholic Church. They would therefore be getting the best of the traditional, the modern, and everything in between.
As traditional dictates, the bride and groom started their day in separate suites at the exquisite Palms Resort. When I arrived, the gentlemen looked sharp in their suits and local cigars and beers in hand. No doubt they were ready for their photos! In the ladies’ suite, as Jessica’s fairytale unfolded, I focused on both candid and stylized photos. The view of Grace Bay Beach’s mesmerizing turquoise waters from the spacious beach front suite was everything that was needed to compliment Jessica’s dramatic gown. It was so beautiful in the Palms suites that after the ceremony we returned there to create even more magic of the bride and groom. But first we headed to the church with “Chapel of Love” humming in our heads. I was so honored to photograph this intimate, traditional ceremony as the best of Turks and Caicos’ wedding photographers.
Back in the lush gardens of The Palms, the phenomenal work of Sheque Perfection hair and makeup really shined through as the ladies got their portraits and goofed around with quite confidence. This was a good time to grab a few images of the newlyweds before heading down to the beach. The amazing colors that came with sunset were the ideal background against which to photograph our traditional yet modern couple. It was a perfect evening and a phenomenal ending to six fairy tale hours.
