Grace Bay Beach Twilight Wedding Photos
Wedding Planning by Tropical Destination Management
Daisy and Tim’s wedding was absolutely incredible to behold. The couple made a great decision going with Teresa from Tropical Destination Management as their wedding planner. When planning a destination wedding, it always goes so much smoother when working with a locally based planner that knows the ins and outs of the island and all of the best vendors for everything, including the photography! The photography started in the beautiful, softly-lit gardens of Ocean Club West with just the groom and his daughter. Tim was absolutely beaming and it took little work to get him smiling in front of the camera. His daughter, filling in the role of best man for the day, did her dutiful job to keep spirits high and make sure Tim looked his absolute best.
Eventually, the bridal party joined us all in the gardens accompanied by her gorgeous bridesmaids. One of the bride’s daughters had actually done the hair and makeup for all of the girls and it looked magnificent. Daisy was beaming with just as much energy as Tim; the two made a beautiful couple. The light had only improved with the time so we continued to take pictures through the gardens towards the beach. As a photographer, a lot of our time and efforts are spent making the couple feel comfortable being photographer. With Daisy and Tim however, it was a complete nonissue. They might as well had been professional models!
The garden portraits came to a close just in time for a perfect wedding ceremony on the number one beach in the world on Grace bay. All of the girls were involved in an intimate ribbon-tying ceremony scattered with warm, candid details. Following the brief but touching ceremony was the stellar sunset portrait session. Contrary to the soft lighting of the gardens, we were now working with an incredibly vibrant sky and dramatic clouds. The dynamic conditions lent well to romantic pictures of the newly-weds. Things ended on a softer note back at the ceremony arbor, flanked with candle-lit lanterns and a magenta twilight sky.
