Vishnu and Shivya are big travelers. They’ve been all around the world. When they got engaged, they wanted to celebrate and have their pictures taken in a very special place. They picked Wymara Resort in Turks and Caicos to relax and celebrate the beginning of their new life together.
This jet setting couple usually have photos taken wherever they go, so a priority for them was having their engagement photos done during this trip. Many couples pick Turks and Caicos to have engagement photos sessions because of the award winning Grace Bay Beach. After all, who wouldn’t want to have their pictures taken on what is the number one beach in the world!
Daytime Photos on a Secluded Beach
In order to do something even more unique and knowing it was for their engagement, Vishnu and Shivya booked a Secluded Beach portrait session. However, because Wymara Resort is gorgeous with its modern architecture, we started with photos there incorporating the most picturesque spots around the resort. It was also a chance for Vishnu and Shivya to warm up with the photographer and get some great tips that they would be able to use when they got to the beach.
Creative Portraits with Different Scenery
They booked a morning session, so it was a good idea to do some photos first at the resort where it’s a little bit cooler and in the shade. As well, sometimes the beach can be a little windy and it’s a chance to make sure everything is perfect for ladies hair and makeup. Once we finished up at the resort, we drove together to one of our favorite locations along Grace Bay beach for pictures. When we got to the secluded beach, we were the only ones there. It was a chance for the couple to be playful and romantic and not worry about anybody watching. The conditions were perfect and the water was a bright turquoise. We did some different pictures with sunglasses on and off so the couple would have a lot of variety to create a photo book or even a save-the-date announcement for their wedding. One of my favorite photos was the couple standing on a rock looking away at the ocean and Shivya lifting her dress as the water pooled around their feet. This would be a gorgeous photo to announce their engagement. We are wishing much happiness to this amazing couple!
