When we, the team at Paradise Photography, arrived at the luxurious resort of Grace Bay Club to meet them, we were instantly welcomed by their warmth and joy. The resort, nestled along the award-winning Grace Bay Beach, offered a spacious sanctuary perfect for the children and the quiet moments the parents would seek.
A Surprise Gift
A ten-year anniversary with two young children demands more than just a celebration; it requires a village. In a beautiful, last-minute decision, Audrey and Alexander orchestrated a wonderful surprise: they flew in Alexander’s mother to join them. It was a chance for Grandma to spend precious, sun-soaked time with Aria and Atlas, and, crucially, it allowed Audrey and Alexander the well-deserved, intimate couple’s time they needed to celebrate their milestone.
Creating an Heirloom
Our discussion before the session was centered on creating an heirloom. Audrey envisioned a special album; a tangible keepsake filled with her favorite images to commemorate this monumental chapter. With a clear vision in mind, we started our portrait session.
The Grace Bay Club Resort is renowned not just for its beachfront, but for the lush, meticulously manicured grounds. The tropical gardens, bursting with every shade of green and vibrant floral color, offer a perfect, secluded starting point. We began there, capturing the family unit among the beautiful botanical backdrops.
Little Aria, full of spirit and life, provided some of the session’s most spontaneous and joyful moments, dancing and twirling beneath the palms. We also made sure to capture the tender new bond between the children and their visiting grandmother. These early frames were about family, connection, and the sheer joy of being together in paradise.
Where the Turquoise Water Inspires Play
As the sun began its gentle descent, we moved from the shade of the garden to the powder-soft sands of the beach.
