Marilyn and her husband are big travelers and they especially love coming to Turks and Caicos. When they came back for the second time, Marilyn brought her parents who were celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary. As a surprise for them, Marilyn booked a daytime secluded beach portrait session.
Daytime Photo Sessions
These sessions offer the bright turquoise colors of the water which Turks and Caicos is famous for. They are popular for people who like the lifestyle-like look for their portraits. Because the morning sun can be bright, we always recommend sunglasses as this helps with any squinting. In addition, it allows our subjects to look at the camera and still have a fun look for their photos.
Because Marilyn and her family were lots of fun, we took some playful photos of everybody. Some of my favorites are of Marilyn and her husband running along the water line as the waves splashed up. We also made sure to take some romantic pictures of the couple and some beauty shots of Marilyn. She looked like a mermaid on top of the rocks.
After we finished on the beach, we drove back to where they were staying at the Royal West Indies Resort. We were able to have a few pictures in the garden without sunglasses so there would be a nice variety of pictures with a different background in addition to the blues.
