Villa Del Mar Destination Wedding Photos
Sunset Photos on a Secluded Beach
When I met with Geovana and Steve several days before their wedding I realized that they wanted something different and simple. Paradise Photography and Tropical Destination Management decided to have the wedding ceremony at a secluded beach location far away from the tourists and all of the other obstructions commonly found on a resort beach. To create a better story for the couple’s future wedding album, I decided to start with Geovana’s preparations in her suite at Villa Del Mar.
Preparation photography is a great opportunity to spend quality time with both the bride and groom alone. A typical wedding normally revolves around the bride. So, during the preparation stage, the groom usually gets the portrait time he deserves. In most weddings I try to photograph the groom throughout the couple’s wedding photography coverage. After Geovana and Steve had their first look in the resort’s garden area I drove them to the secluded beach ceremony area. The ceremony was brief with only Steve’s parents attending. The creative beach photos were amazing. Geovana loves hats and she brought one with her for me to use. Hats, bouquets, sunglasses, umbrellas, veils and any other kind of creative prop are great to use because it gives your subject something to do. These props help to keep your subjects loose and relaxed. The sunset was epic and the twilight even better. All in all, this couple’s secluded beach destination wedding was to die for!!!
