Wedding in the West Indies
Turks and Caicos has long been known for having some of the most beautiful islands for destination weddings. That’s because nothing beats the turquoise water that surrounds the islands, their soft white sand beaches, and the luscious tropical trees in lots of sunshine. And thanks to our easy COVID19 travel requirements and guidelines, the islands are becoming even more popular. It has been so exciting capturing stunning weddings again, especially for brides and grooms who have been waiting a long time. Kary and Reed were equally as excited to finally be here in the Turks and Caicos Islands with 25 of their closest relatives and friends. It was our first wedding of this size since the pandemic started. What made it even more special was that the guest list included both the bride and grooms’ grandmothers, who they thought would not make it. The occasion truly deserved the vibrant celebration that Teresa, their wedding coordinator, created. The tropical theme was complete with a bamboo arch, wooden chairs, and a combination of colourful florals and gold decor to bring the celebration to life. We could tell that the wedding day meant a lot to this bride and groom especially because they were able to celebrate with their loved ones in-person. We also loved all the intimate little details and moments that made the day even more special. We’re still in awe that the bride’s beach-chic wedding gown was made by her and her mother themselves. Photographing every bit of wedding details, fun dancing, bride and groom portraits, and all the other images in-between was an honour. We’re happy they chose Paradise Photography as the best wedding photographers in the Turks and Caicos Islands to capture their incredibly special day.
