On vacation with their two lovely daughters, Danielle and David chose to stay at West Bay Club in Turks and Caicos, one of the sister properties of Grace Bay Resorts. Set in a quiet part of Grace Bay, the beach at West Bay Club is nice and wide and perfect for enjoying a family photo shoot!
Resort Portrait Photography
Paradise Photography is very familiar with West Bay Club Resort, having had many wedding and portrait photo sessions there over the years. This helps to put our clients’ minds at ease knowing that we’ll know where to take them. We send our clients information prior to their photo shoot on ideas of what to wear, what to bring (and not to bring) and answer any questions they may have. We also ask what the goal of the session is – whether it’s to update a family portrait, create holiday cards or even to make a vacation book. All this helps to tailor our portrait sessions for each family we meet. It’s also useful to know of any special occasions, such as birthdays or anniversaries so they can have some special photos to always treasure.
After meeting in the lobby and discussing the plan for pictures, Danielle and David let us know they wanted to be able to make holiday cards and put some framed photos up on their wall. Beginning with a couple of shots in the garden, we actually took all our pictures on the beach. The sun was going down and it was not too bright on the eyes, so it was ideal to make the most of the time in the sand.
Fun Family Pictures
With a family of four, there is time to get all the different combinations of people. we took pictures of the whole family together, just the girls, some couple photos of Daniele and David, mom and the girls and then dad and the girls. We even had time for some candid and playful pictures of the girls by the sea.
Family portraits on the beach is a great way to capture some special moments, and being outdoors on the beach just brings out our fun and adventurous side… Smiling comes naturally!
