We’ve known Nick for years from when we did his family pictures at the Shore Club years ago. He and his family are owners and have been coming to Turks and Caicos for years. When Nick reached out to us to say he was planning to propose to his girlfriend, Jessica we were so excited for him! It was no surprise that Nick would pop-the-question with his longtime girlfriend in the place he considered his second home. Having come to the island for many years, Nick had special memories and favorite places. One of those places was Flamingos restaurant and bar which is on Grace Bay Beach. It’s a favorite spot for locals who want authentic food, good rum punch, and the best sunset views. On the day of his proposal, Nick brought Jessica to Flamingos, but instead of getting a table at the restaurant they decided to first go for a stroll on the beach where Nick dropped to a knee.

After Jessica said YES we drove to a more private part of Grace Bay Beach for romantic couples photos. It couldn’t have been a more perfect day with bright blue colors and calm turquoise waters. We had fun taking photos for what will be their engagement photos with a combination of casual and more traditional style photos showcasing Jessica’s beautiful new diamond ring. Once the sun had set and we finished with the photos, Nick took Jessica back to the Shore Club resort where he had another surprise waiting for her. He flew her parents in from Canada so they could all celebrate together. We are wishing much happiness to this wonderful couple.
