We love it when we can be inspired by our clients! Heads were turning when Joseph and his family came to the lobby for their portrait session. The three adorable boys all wore matching blue plaid shirts and white shorts – matching their father’s outfit too. Mom coordinated with the boys with a cute pair of white capri pants and a fitted printed top.
Joseph booked a family portrait session to get an updated family portrait of his three boys. It had been a long time since their last photo session and they wanted to do something special on the beach. We met in the lobby of the Palms Resort to do a consultation to figure out a goal for the session and to come up with some fun ideas. We started by photographing each one of the boys by one of the rustic whitewashed wooden posts close to the lobby. It worked great with the blue and white shirts of the boys. We did pictures of all three brothers together and the family in that spot.
Pictures in the Resort Gardens
Before heading to the beach, we took a picture of everyone at the lobby balcony overlooking the courtyard. It was a chance to have the background of the Palms resort with its iconic coral stone architecture. While walking through the resort we made sure to stop at the birdcage for the family formal style photo by one of the most photographed places in the resort. Many families get their large wall photo done in this location because it’s truly spectacular.
Family Photos on the Beach
Once we got to the beach, we kept things fun and natural. The family walked holding hands along the shoreline smiling and having fun. We did a combination of casual, lifestyle like and formal style photos so Joseph and his wife would have everything they needed. The conditions on the beach were ideal for the clothing choice as the lighting was soft as it neared the sunset. Big compliments to the three brothers for how well they did on their first beach portrait session!
