Megan and Mark came to Turks and Caicos for their honeymoon. They wanted a destination that was beautiful and relaxing as they have busy jobs where they live just outside Atlanta. The Wymara Resort was the perfect location for them because it’s located on a quiet part of Grace Bay beach and it’s a great location for couples with a contemporary feel.
Megan reached out about a couple’s portrait session for their honeymoon. We consulted with her about what she was looking for. She had a couple of ideas for outfits and wasn’t sure what would work best so we recommended doing an outfit change and advised on what look we thought would look best. Megan scheduled a morning session, so we talked with her about the best timing to get what she wanted.
The couple met in the lobby where we started with some romantic photos using the pretty garden areas and contemporary architectural features of the resort. Megan and Mark were so comfortable in front of the camera. It’s no surprise they were on their honeymoon; it was as if they were the only two people at the resort the way they looked lovingly at each other.
Romantic Couples Photos
Halfway through the portrait session we took a break for Megan to do a quick change of clothes. She switched from her elegant ivory slip dress to a cute pair of white shorts and tank top. Because it was bright in the morning we went to the beach and the couple wore sunglasses for a more fun and playful look. The bright turquoise water popped in the background. We did lifestyle-like fun photos of the couple playfully running along the shoreline. Mark lifted up his new wife for a super cute photo. We wrapped up this couple’s honeymoon session by having Megan and Mark sit in the sand for some casual pictures. The final photos were of Megan and her husband in a loving embrace in the water up to their knees.
This fun couple plans on returning to Turks and Caicos and we will do another session.
