When you imagine classic Caribbean architecture for a villa, Amazing Grace immediately springs to mind. When you arrive at this picturesque traditional style villa with its horseshoe shaped driveway, the first thing you notice is the ivory coloured coral stone, complete with minty green shutters on all the windows. The walkway is lined with colorful bougainvillea that drapes around the wooden trellises. There are unique archways and a welcoming wooden door that opens with the smiling and friendly villa staff. The inside of the villa is luxuriously furnished and this fits the style of the villa.
Beautiful Courtyard for Photos
Amazing Grace Villa is perfect for families with its grassy courtyard in the middle. It’s a chance for kids to run around and play and for some nice candid pictures. A favorite spot is the coral stone ledge where the kids can sit for a photograph with the villa behind them. The courtyard has also been used for a toddler’s birthday party with decorations, games and fun things to make it like a birthday carnival. It was so memorable.
Amazing Grace also has a lovely deck area that is ideal for hosting a special celebration such as a birthday. The tables can be set up in any way with enough room to have a dance floor and even a spot for a DJ.
There’s another large grassy area that has a stone pathway leading down to the ocean. It’s a lovely spot to take a picture of the family as they walk down to the beach with the villa behind them.
Amazing Grace sits on a beautiful stretch of award-winning Grace bay beach. It’s a more remote part of the beach with lots of room for family photos and very few beach walkers and boats that would come into the photo. It’s always nice to have the family walking along the beach together and there’s plenty of space to do this.
Portrait Sessions at Sunset
The location for the villa is also excellent to be able to get the sunset 365 days a year. Not every spot on the beach has a sunset year round so it’s a real bonus when you can find a place that does.
We make sure to do a group picture with the sunset whenever possible and factor in enough time to photograph every combination of the family including grandparents and grandchildren, adult children, cousins, kids, etc.
Whether you’re a large family or small family, the villa is very homey and makes you feel like you really experience Caribbean living during your Turks and Caicos vacation.
