Turks and Caicos Dream Wedding
Wedding Photography Team at West Bay Club
One was a painter and the other a programmer. This describes our most recent couple who were the perfect balance. Yoon and Sunny introduced themselves as two Koreans who are living in the Big Apple with dreams of a tropical wedding getaway. That dream brought them to Turks and Caicos on a gorgeous day in February. We knew from the beginning that they would have an incredibly precious wedding day. They had checked into West Bay Club with 30 of their closest relatives just a few days before the wedding day. We could tell from the pre-wedding consultation that it was a celebration not just for Yoon and Sunny, but for both of the families that were about to become one. On the evening of the wedding it was all eyes on the bride-to-be as the ladies packed into the bridal suite in awe. Our team of two photographers and one videographer were prepared to capture both stills and motion shots of this very special story as it unfolded. In the groom’s suite it was no different. We captured moments from mom pinning the groom’s boutonnière on the groom to making his final adjustments before heading to see his bride. From the gorgeous photos we captured there is no telling it was a rainy evening. But with the spacious corridors, diffusing white walls, and beautiful decor available in the West Bay Club suites, arranging the first look and bridal beauty shots we usually do in the garden was no challenge. Down on Grace Bay Beach Kizzy, the in-house wedding coordinator, did an awesome job prepping for the ceremony despite the passing rain storms, and even more fantastic work for the pool-side reception at Drift restaurant. The setup was completed with dreamy lights and a twilight ambiance under the stars. This set the perfect mood for a beautiful rest of the evening. In the end, it was a pleasure witnessing the union of Yoon Hyup and Sunnyoung and being there to capture the most special moments of their day.
