Davia and Michael set their wedding date for the winter, but their plan was to escape the cold of Cincinnati, Ohio, and come to a warm and sunny location for their nuptials. Turks and Caicos was the perfect destination with its sunny skies, beautiful beaches, and bright blue water.
Their wedding story began with a “First Look.” Michael was ready right on time, but Davia needed a little extra time to make sure her dress and gorgeous beaded veil were perfect for the groom to see her in private for the first time.
We were there to photograph the special moments of the final bridal preparations of Davia in her gorgeous lace gown in the spacious penthouse at Blue Haven Resort. She then headed down to surprise her groom, Michael, who was waiting in the garden of the beautiful grounds of the resort, looking equally elegant in a stylish white suit.
The Ceremony in Turks and Caicos Paradise
The anticipation and excitement were building amongst the guests, and it was soon time for Davia, Michael, and their bridal party of fourteen to take their places. The party walked in pairs down the long boardwalk aisle out to the gazebo over the water. Davia’s wedding vision was to always get married by the picturesque gazebo overlooking the ocean. Very few destinations can beat the turquoise water of Turks and Caicos weddings for such a spectacular backdrop. Davia and her father walked arm-and-arm towards the gazebo where her excited groom and guests were waiting.
After an emotional ceremony full of love, the bride and groom took photos with all their wedding guests. Some of the best photos of the day were the wedding photos in the gazebo with the bridesmaids and groomsmen. We ended the day with romantic photos of Davia and Michael in the gazebo. This was what she always dreamed about! We wish Davia and Michael every happiness as they embark on their lives together. Congratulations!
