Photographing Dogs with Holiday Cheer
One of our most anticipated Christmas traditions is photographing Larry and Nanine’s dogs for their annual Christmas card. Every year we look forward to it and every year their holiday card keeps getting better and better! This year they welcomed a dog into their family – a service dog named Colby. Colby joins their two other dogs, Captain and Caesar who are a black and chocolate lab! The dogs spend part of their time in Massachusetts and here in Turks and Caicos. We always do photos of the dogs on the beach. This year we chose the lovely Long Bay beach in front of their amazing villa — Mandalay.
Nanine had the dogs were ready with their Christmas collars, which were red, each with their names engraved. Their black, chocolate, and yellow fur stood out nicely against the turquoise water.
The three dogs are a huge part of Nanine and Larry’s life. They even travel with them around the islands and the Unites States. So, featuring just them on their Christmas cards this year was no surprise to anyone. We had so much fun photographing the boys; and of course, they couldn’t wait to end the session with a swim. We love that the dogs mean so much to Nanine and Larry. They are a huge part of the local charity scene, and they are always flying rescued puppies home to the US for adoption. This year we know lots of hearts will melt when they receive their holiday cards from Captain, Cesar, and service dog Colby.
