Anna and Chris chose to elope to Turks and Caicos and get married at the luxury Seven Stars Resort, located directly on Grace Bay beach. It would be just the two of them to share their special day. Having been married before, this was a second wedding and they wanted to keep it intimate, making it about them and their love for each other.
We met Anna and Chris for the first time in the lobby to discuss the plan for the day and finalise the wedding photography timeline. It’s always nice to meet our couples beforehand so we can get to know each other a little before spending the time together on what is one of the most important days of their life.
Wedding Day at Seven Stars Resort
The bride and groom wanted to have a First Look, which meant arranging to get ready separately. The wedding planner at Seven Stars Resort took care of this for them and the photography began with the Anna in her suite as the final touches of make up were being put on. She had been given a spacious ground floor suite which meant she could easily walk across the patio to surprise her groom for the First Look on the lawn just in front. Chris was standing with his eyes averted, heavily anticipating seeing his bride.
Anna looked so beautiful with her soft, beach waves of long blond hair and a stunning ballgown dress with gorgeous beading in the top and a skirt that sparkled as it caught the light. We took photos around the gardens of Seven Stars Resort before heading to the ceremony.
Wedding Photos on the Beach
After the ceremony, Anna and Chris walked hand-in-hand onto Grace Bay beach and down to the shoreline for more photos as the sun went down. We took a mixture of candid images of the couple walking and enjoying the moment together, and some posed photographs in the beautiful Turks and Caicos light.
