Brittany made a beautiful beach bride! Marrying her sweetheart, Jacey, on the island paradise of Turks and Caicos was as gorgeous as it sounds. The couple from the US chose to elope together and stay at Windsong Resort on Grace Bay beach.
We met with the couple before their wedding day to go over the details of the photography timeline we had previously discussed. In the wedding photography services we provide, this meeting with our brides and grooms is an important time for the couple to get to know us and bring up any last minute changes, but also to feel relaxed and reassured with how the wedding day events will play out. It’s our job as wedding photographers to guide the couple and ensure they’re in the right places at the right times, all whilst getting the pictures they want.
Wedding Day Pictures
Brittany and Jacey were getting ready in the same suite but were managing not to see each other. Sheque Perfection were doing the final touches of hair and make up for Brittany and Jacey was carefully putting on his cufflinks. We took some groomsman pictures in the lush gardens and pathways of Windsong, before doing the same with Brittany for some gorgeous bridal beauty pictures.
Brittany and Jacey had brought custom hip flasks to use for their First Look. Back-to-back, they would cheers each other, have a sip, and then turn around. It was a special moment for both of them to see each other and then have some pictures in the resort grounds before heading to the beach.
Beach Ceremony and Sunset Photos
The ceremony was a simple two-arch set-up on the beach with the mesmerising blue sea backdrop behind. The weather was warm but we had an overcast sky which was fortunate because it meant it wasn’t too bright to keep their eyes open, and for photographs it creates a nice soft light too.
After the ceremony, we took beach pictures of the couple, beginning with walking along the shore, and then some more guided romantic poses for their wedding album. As the Turks and Caicos sky continued to bring out the pinks and oranges of a beautiful evening, the couple headed to their private dinner in the sand where they cut the cake and then would have the rest of the evening to enjoy together.
