There’s nothing more romantic than a proposal that is over-the-top! This will stand out as one of the best proposals with a lavish setup on Grace Bay beach. Rich brought the love-of-his-life, Nicole, to Turks and Caicos. Nicole thought she was just coming for a vacation to escape the cold of Chicago. She had no idea she would have the surprise of her life with getting engaged!! Because Rich wanted to do something super special, he reached out to a proposal planner, Tropical Destination Management. He spent months with planning every detail of the proposal so it would be perfect for Nicole. Rich came up with a plan to have them both come to Grace Bay Club Resort’s Infiniti restaurant.

Rich got dressed in a tuxedo and Nicole picked a dusty rose colored sequined gown. Before going to dinner, Rich brought Nicole to the beach. She was absolutely shocked when she looked down the beach and saw a sign that said “Marry Me?” in large letters. By the time Nicole turned to look at Rich, he was already down on one knee. He pulled out of his pocket a huge round diamond ring and slipped it on to her finger. Nicole was so overcome with emotion that she started to cry. She couldn’t stop hugging and kissing Rich and saying YES over and over. After the shock wore off, he popped a bottle of champagne and they toasted each other to the beginning of what will be a new life for them. The timing of Rich’s proposal was perfect because as soon as they both sipped their champagne and made a toast, we began to do beautiful beach pictures with just the two of them walking hand in hand with the backdrop of the turquoise waters of Grace Bay beach. The weather was perfect for the proposal and the colors of the sky turned a beautiful violet and pink that matched Nicole’s dress. We finished up the photos by having Nicole and Rich sit down on their beautiful setup with pillows and a private table full of a charcuterie board and champagne. The final surprise for twilight after the sun had set was fireworks to celebrate the special night. Congratulations to this wonderful couple and we hope they choose Turks and Caicos for their wedding!
