Amanyara Honeymooning Portraits
Charles and Brooke have fine taste and know what works for them. Just over a year prior to this photo session Charles proposed to Brooke at the very same location, the Amanyara Resort. Therefore, they saw it fitting to return to this magnificent location for their honeymoon. And coincidentally, it was Charles’ birthday. So, why not kill two birds with one stone? The Amanyara resort is a secluded venue on the west coast of Providenciales, Turks and Caicos. It serves the discriminating guest that usually wants to remain on the resort and who rarely leaves the property. This is just what this newlywed couple from California wanted. They also wanted a Turks and Caicos based professional photographer take photos of them in and around the resort to commemorate these two important milestones. I met them at the Amanyara’s library, which is located next to the front lobby area. I asked them what they wanted from the session; and like most of our clients, they said they wanted casual shots of them interacting around the resort and on the beach. I photographed them around the library and by the black basalt infinity pool. We finished the session at the beach, which by the time we arrived was devoid of all guests who were probably back at their rooms preparing for dinner. The sunset was magnificent, as it usually is on the island’s most westerly situated resort. I’m sure Charles and Brooke will be returning again and again to this magical spot called the Amanyara Resort.
