Amanda and Mickey met during their residency in medical school. Amanda was studying to be in anaesthesiologist and Mickey was preparing to be a neurosurgeon. Just like out of the popular television show, Grey’s Anatomy, Amanda fell in love with her Dr. McDreamy after he persisted in asking her out and they had their first date!
When this power couple decided to get married, they wanted to go to one of their favorite places and bring their family and friends to share in their special day. Amanda and Mickey chose the Seven Stars Resort on Grace Bay Beach for their elaborate destination wedding. From the beginning, Amanda wanted full wedding day photography coverage from beginning to end so we developed a special photo timeline for her wedding day to ensure she would get the most beautiful pictures.
Turks and Caicos Wedding Photography
Spending time before the wedding ceremony and getting the pictures of the bride and bridesmaids and groom and groomsmen getting ready was the starting point for the wedding photography. Amanda had many special detail items that we photographed with care. Her wedding dress was a designer Pnina Tornai so we made sure to emphasize her bridal beauty.
After the preparation photos, the couple had their first look in a private garden area of the resort. We then took romantic garden photos of the couple walking holding hands around the property. For the ceremony, Amanda walked down the wooden deck to her smiling groom and happy faces of her wedding guests. Her gorgeous cathedral veil blew in the wind as she and Mickey exchanged their vows.
After officially becoming husband and wife, we took a fun group photo with all their guests and drone photos of the bridal party with the backdrop of the turquoise blue waters of Grace Bay. We ended the beach photos with the bride and groom and a beautiful sunset.
Large Wedding Celebration
The reception for the happy couple was held under the stars on the Seven Stars Deck overlooking Grace Bay beach. Their guests enjoyed a lavish buffet dinner and meaningful toasts by the best man and maid of honor. During the evening, Amanda changed into a fun vintage flapper style dress and she and Mickey danced the night away ending with a kiss as their fireworks went off in the background. We wish all the best to this fantastic couple who had the most amazing wedding of the year!
