Kyle and Natalie have a love story that lasted over the years. Their families knew each other when they were growing up and always thought they would be a perfect match. It turned out their families were right!!
When this stylish couple met they immediately knew it was a very special connection. Unfortunately, their careers and busy lives put any chance of a relationship on hold. Natalie’s modelling career had her traveling all over the world so the years went by as they both worked on their separate careers.
Fast forward six years and fate would have the couple reconnecting again while traveling. It was as if time had never stopped for them. Kyle proposed to his love in New York City and she of course said yes. They didn’t want to waste any time so they decided to plan their wedding in just six months.
Ceremony at the Palms Resort Spa
The wedding destination was an easy decision. Kyle has a villa in Turks and Caicos so the island has a special place in his heart. When it came to selecting a venue, Natalie wanted a French provincial style wedding so she opted for the luxurious Palms Resort located on Grace Bay beach. As their wedding photographer, this was ideal, knowing there are so many spots to take beautiful pictures. For the location of the ceremony, the couple selected the award-winning Palms Spa. The bride had a custom-made platform that was placed over the iconic reflecting pool. It would provide a striking setting for the bride as she walked down the specially made aisle passing all of her smiling guests. It was just as if she was on a runway in Paris!
The wedding guests were a combination of friends from back home and the many people that Kyle has gotten to know over the years with his family living in Turks and Caicos.
The ceremony was officiated by one of the couple’s family friends. After they exchanged emotional vows, they exited the wedding ceremony to the song ‘Purple Rain’ which was played by local musician, Quentin Dean. Purple rose petals were tossed in the air as the couple walked down the reflecting pool holding hands in front of all their smiling guests. The purple petals were symbolic for Natalie because the color was a favorite of her young cousin who sadly passed away earlier in the year. The petals would help to keep her memory alive.
The Wedding Reception
Afterwards, the reception was held at the Palms’ Parallel 23 restaurant. The couple walked through the entrance of the hotel lobby with the beautiful terrace so all their guests could see. Kyle and Natalie danced together to start off the reception and then the bridal party joined in. The night was full of amazing food, toasts and lots of dancing. One of the highlights was a tradition for Natalie’s family who are Croatian. There were flags from Croatia for Natalie and Canada for Kyle that were displayed at the reception and during the dances for the couple to celebrate their union.
For the cake cut, Natalie changed into another dress which was handmade just for her. Its elegant look, complete with a plunging neckline and vintage style broach, complimented Kyle’s fashionable tuxedo which was perfect for their sophisticated style together.
The wedding ended when the evening sky lit up with a celebratory firework display as everyone danced on the dance floor.
We couldn’t be happier for this sweet couple and loved being part of such a special day!
