Arianna and Mike traveled to Turks and Caicos from Ontario for their destination wedding on the shores of Grace Bay beach. They had chosen to stay at Club Med Turkoise, an all-inclusive, adult only resort where they could have everything arranged for them, hassle free. All they needed were their closest friends and family to join them and celebrate their wedding day.
We first met Arianna and Mike in the lobby of the resort the day prior to the wedding. This allowed us to finalise the photography plan for the day, making sure we would cover the aspects which were particularly important to the couple.
On the wedding day, we met Arianna with her mother and bridesmaids in her room. She was ready in her dress with hair and make up completed. Photography began with the ladies having a champagne toast and some bridal beauty pictures on the balcony. Arianna looked amazing in an elegant gown and her hair beautifully swept back with natural beachy waves down over her shoulders.
First Look and Garden Pictures
It was then time to collect the groom to set up for the First Look. We arranged this on the steps with Mike below turning around to see his wife-to-be up above, in a Romeo and Juliet moment. Arianna then came down the stairs to be embraced by Mike, and this was a perfect time for the couple to have a few moments to themselves in anticipation for the day ahead.
Club Med is a great place to take pictures and the early afternoon brings some much needed shade behind the buildings, so we used various spots for some greenery in the background and also the bright blues and pinks for fun pops of color.
The Wedding Ceremony
Arianna and Mike had chosen to have their ceremony on the dock at Club Med. This is at the eastern end of the resort and is such a unique location making for a ceremony to remember. Afterwards, we took a group photo on the beach and the formal family photos. Then we took some fun walking shots of the bridal party, followed by some romantic couple photos as the sun went down and the light became softer. The newlyweds then joined their guests on the terrace for their cocktail party and cake cutting.
It was so lovely meeting Arianna and Mike, and we wish the happy couple great joy and love in their lives going forward together.
