Beach & Poolside Romance at The Palms
Jill and Andrew are both doctors and they met at the hospital they both work at. They dated for four years prior to their engagement. Andrew proposed in Battery Park City where they had their first official date.
As very busy doctors, they decided to have a destination wedding on a spectacular beach with their closest friends and family. They wanted their guests to have an amazing vacation while celebrating their wedding. It was important for everyone to have a fun reception with good food, great drinks, and lots of dancing. And more importantly, they knew the importance of having the best professional wedding photographer document their Caribbean destination wedding.
The ceremony was on the beach and kept a relaxed theme with white and blush flowers and fabrics. The reception was poolside and the Palms Resort beach bar is always set up beautifully. The resort is also already covered by beautiful bougainvillea. “We didn’t have to add much for the decor since the resort was already gorgeous.” The couple decided to add flowers, string lights and candles for both the ceremony and reception.
Jill specifically wanted white and blush flowers with lots of greenery. For the reception tables, Jill wanted glass and silver accents. The bridal bouquet was beautiful and matched all the corsages, boutonnieres, and flower crowns.
Their favorite parts of the day included the much anticipated first look and their choreographed first dance surrounded by their guests holding sparklers!
