Small Destination Wedding
One of the best things about the COVID-19 pandemic is the opportunity it’s created for the most intimate, memorable weddings imaginable. Large weddings can be hard to plan, and sometimes stressful right up to the wedding day. But with the minimized guest lists and open-air venues, 2021 weddings are off to an incredibly romantic swing. Jennifer and Mathew flew from New York City to the Turks and Caicos Islands with ten of their closest family members and friends. The direct flight to the island made it the perfect tropical location for their dreamy destination wedding. They chose the award-winning Shore Club resort on Long Bay Beach as their venue. The resort has the most luscious landscaping and stunning architecture so it was ideal for a wedding and getting gorgeous photos there. They also work with the very talented wedding planner, Jay Morley. So with an easy flight in, and the planning and photography in exceptional hands, the excited couple were sure to have the enjoyable day they surely deserved. While Shenique worked her magic on the ladies’ hair and makeup, we made sure to capture the details that were especially important to our bride and groom. This included their wedding bands, a one-of-a-kind bridal bouquet, and an extra special necklace of the bride’s brother who had passed away. We had adequate time to capture the ladies enjoying they’re afternoon prepping for the special event, mom and mother-in-law included. The groom and his grooms’ men had a great time getting their energies pumped for the sea-side ceremony too. It was an unbelievably perfect evening. An intimate ceremony meant everyone felt connected, and were crying tears of joy in no time. Lots of photos followed the short and sweet ceremony. Jennifer and Matthew had a great time simply being themselves, and the happiness carried over straight into the reception where they did their first dance, cake cutting, and lit sparklers before enjoying dinner. We had an amazing time photographing what Jennifer described as her “perfect wedding” and we’re thrilled that she chose Paradise Photography as the best photographers to capture it all.
