Destination Vow Renewal at Sailrock Resort
When Ashley and Dan got married ten years ago, they didn’t have any wedding pictures of their special day. They got married in a civil ceremony and promised each other that for their ten-year wedding anniversary they would make it a priority to take wedding photos. Fast forward ten years, and they picked the beautiful Sail Rock Resort in South Caicos. Because photos were so important to them, they also wanted to use the best wedding photographers in the Turks and Caicos. We were the fortunate studio that they selected. Ashley spared no expense and went all out with a beautiful wedding dress and special touches. She got ready in one of the private beach front villas. As she was getting her hair and makeup, we photographed the special details she wanted such as her bouquet, dress, and rings. She brought a Bible so we could photograph her rings on a special verse about love. Because Ashley and Dan did not have wedding pictures on their actual wedding day, we made sure to do a “first look”. This is where Daniel saw Ashley for the first time in her wedding dress before the ceremony. After the first look we took them on a walk through Sail Rock Resort’s many picturesque locations. They strolled hand-in-hand along the pathways with the ocean in the background looking at each other. It was hard to believe they had been together for a decade. The resort also set up a special ceremony arrangement in a private cove just for the two of them. The Sail Rock staff made a beautiful heart in the sand made of rose petals. During the ceremony this heart served as a memory of their enduring love of ten years of marriage. Even their vows were very special and showed that they were still in love. They effortlessly walked along the beautiful shoreline holding hands and smiling at each other. The sunset was spectacular as we took pictures all the way to their private dinner setup. The resort set up a beautiful dinner setting in the Cove with candlelight and tiki torches. The twilight sky with its romantic glow was the perfect ending for a beautiful couple whose love has managed to withstand the test of time. We wish Ashley and Dan a future of happiness!!
