Tropical Destination Wedding
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Kristin and Ryan planned their destination wedding in the Turks and Caicos Islands. There was no way they would be tying the knot anywhere else. The couple had long discovered the islands as their Happy Place, and had also gotten engaged there about a year ago. So finally, as travelling got safer in 2021 and more and more vaccinations rolled out, Kristin and Ryan rounded up all their family and friends and headed to the Turks and Caicos Islands for the celebration of their dreams. The Shore Club resort on Long Bay Beach was the ideal venue for their wedding because it was on this same beach that they’d gotten engaged. It was a dreamy experience to be getting ready to tie the knot with nothing but luscious palm trees and the dazzling turquoise water surrounding them. Even at the Crossing Palms Villa where the gentlemen were getting ready, the scene was equally breathtaking.
We started the evening with photos of the groom and his groomsmen looking sharp and ready for action. While the groom and his best man looked amazing, his soon-to-be son and the little ring bearer were the one’s who really stole the show. In the bridal suite at The Shore Club, Kristin looked stunning in her Badgley Mischka gown too. Her hair and makeup were done to perfection by Arlene from Kiss n Makeup, and the twinkle in her eye showed that she was beyond ready to have her son walk her down the aisle. Despite concerns about rain during the week, the weather was right for the evening. Everything flowed smoothly from the seaside ceremony to bride and groom portraits around the resort, and then a courtyard reception under the twilight sky. It was so beautiful capturing all the joy and laughter on Kristin and Ryan’s face the entire evening. We’re incredibly happy for them and their beautiful new family, and we’re even more thrilled that they chose Paradise Photography to capture their special day.
