Bougainvillea Beach Wedding

Somer and Jeremy met when they were in High School. She walked into Jeremy’s class and he knew this would be the girl he would marry. Fast forward nearly 15 years and this couple finally decided to tie the knot. Wanting something intimate and special, they escaped to Turks & Caicos with just their best friends. The day of the wedding, Somer got ready with her bestie who also did her hair and makeup. The two girls looked like sisters with how close of friends they were. Jeremy hung out with his best friend and best man on their spacious ocean front condo while the girls got ready. They listened to country music and watched the waves from the balcony. We started with suite, including doing a “First Look” and then off to the garden for some pre-wedding bridal photos.  Eager to get to the ceremony, Jeremy went ahead with his best man to stand under the bright fuchsia colored bougainvillea wedding arch.

Somer and Jeremy’s wedding arch was one-of-a-kind. Most arches will have softer colored flowers (cream, white, blush) but arch popped against the beautiful turquoise waters at Grace Bay Beach. The flowers tied perfectly together with Somer’s bridal bouquet which was also in fuchsia bougainvillea, and made from a native flower in Turks and Caicos. After the ceremony we made sure to do pictures including the wedding couple’s best friends. Everybody shared in a champagne toast and also walking on the beach having fun.

This Turks and Caicos destination wedding was definitely worth waiting fifteen years! Jeremy and Somer had a perfect day with the bright blue sky and water and a romantic sunset fitting of true love that stands the test of time.
