Villa Renaissance Vacation
It’s so rewarding as a photographer when you have clients who absolutely love pictures and are eager about their photo session. It’s even more exciting when you arrive early for the portrait session and you recognize your family by the way they are all beautifully dressed, happy and smiling.
This was the case with the Deegan family. Family pictures were a must do on their family vacation to Turks and Caicos. As part of their photoshoot, we planned to spend extra time with the youngest sister Olivia to capture her senior year portraits. She’s a volleyball player and wanted to have some beautiful pictures including an outfit change. We started with Olivia in a cute romper doing some senior pictures and then she changed to match the ivory color of the rest of the family. Mom and dad had a goal of getting an updated family picture as this was the last year that Olivia would be home before heading off to college like her older sister. the gorgeous architecture of Villa Renaissance with its gold walls and ivory columns provided a gorgeous backdrop for our garden family photos. One of my favorite pictures is of the family and of the sisters against the colorful blue shutters of the resort. It was a one-of-a-kind picture that you can only do at this resort. Once on the beach, we made sure to combine some natural candids of the family walking on the beach as well as the traditional pictures of mother daughter and dad and daughters. The whole goal of this session was to update the family portrait as the girls were very young the last time pictures had been taken. A beautiful ending to the session was a favorite picture for most families of everybody casually sitting in the sand with the beautiful turquoise colored water of Grace Bay Beach behind them.
